I built a web app for university students to monitor the status (open/closed) of courses similar to a wait list for a specific university that does not have this functionality.

I’ve been approached by someone at the university who wants to help me monetize the project. I’ve lost passion for the project and don’t see myself putting much effort into building a subscription service.

Should I ‘hand over the reigns’, in a way to this person and take on a partner? He seems much more privy to the business / marketing side than I am. I doubt I’ll come up with a strategy for it on my own.

If I do do this, what distribution of profit would be fair? Assuming we actually made money.

Any advice on this type of situation?
